Toronto Light Fest

I haven’t posted in such a long time. I’ve been busy these last couple of months..perhaps I will share my good news on another post; until then it’s time to catch up!

DSC01151.JPGBack in March, I went to the  Toronto Light Festival at the Distillery District. I think we decided to go on the coldest night, but we managed to survive with hot tea and checking out the shops to warm up.

DSC01174.JPGThis installation changed colours; blue, yellow and pink. If you sat inside it you would also see the colours changing.

DSC01141.JPGEveryone taking turns to take a picture here. We thought about stopping too but standing and waiting only made us colder; so I decided to take a picture of someone else instead.

DSC01145.JPGWe stopped to check this one out. There may have been a party inside this building. We could hear music as we started approaching this installation.

DSC01139.JPGThis one was my favourite; very pretty and bright.

DSC01154.JPGI love El Catrin. I can’t believe we were here last Spring! We sat on the patio drank watermelon margaritas (I think they were watermelon) and ate tacos. While taking this picture I was thinking how I wish it was patio weather and if we would ever get there.

DSC01167.JPGIt was only a matter of time until we needed to fully warm up and check out some shops. This shop had some cool vintage stuff. I really liked this plate on the left, most likely because it had lipsticks on it.

DSC01172.JPGAnother installation that was pretty cool. The wings changed colours as well.

DSC01129.JPG                                          I had to try it myself =)

DSC01171.JPGEven though it was freezing cold, the Toronto Light Fest was really enjoyable. Always a wonderful time at The Distillery District.
