My Go To Clean Skin Care Products

A skincare routine was always something important to me since my teenage years. During that time, it was about trial and error; or if my mother found something advertised on tv, she would want me to try it to help with whatever imperfections I was telling her about that week.

Until this day, I love a good skincare routine. I am now the one doing research on products that I’ve seen advertised. As I get older, I notice my skin type and texture changes; as this happens with everyone, we just experience it differently.

Recently my skin was dehydrated, and my current products that I was using was either stripping away my natural oils, or they were not rich in texture to penetrate into my skin the way it should.

I knew it was time to switch up a few products and I began doing some research which ones would work for my skin type. I try to steer clear of fragranced products, especially before bed; as I am sensitive to scents, and they also can do a number to my skin if I am not mindful of what I am using.

After some research and reading past product reviews I found that Youth to the People was something I could get on board with.

I decided to try the Superfood Cleanser first. There was a mini size available and I thought that would be a great start to see if my skin can tolerate it.

The cleanser has a great lather and my skin doesn’t feel dry or tight after use. It’s for most skin types and skin concerns. The best part of this cleanser is it removes all makeup, sunscreen and excess oils; and that to me is a win!

After feeling pretty good about my mini size purchase, I decided to splurge on YTTP’s Superfood Air-Whip Lightweight Face Moisturizer.

First off the texture of this cream is amazing. The moisturizer is very lightweight as the name states, and my combination skin appreciated it very much; a little goes a long way.

What I love about this moisturizer is that it contains Hyaluronic Acid and it keeps your skin hydrated all day. I didn’t experience any kind of reaction or excess oil, only dewy looking skin, and that’s something I don’t complain about.

Overall I am happy with my new products. My skin looks and feels great and it was worth the time, effort and money to find good quality products that suit my skin perfectly.

I hope this inspires you to do your own research if you are interested in changing your skin care products. It could be a lot of work and trial and error, but I can assure you it’s worth it when it comes to your skin.
